Oh, Roberts What have you done!

In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. The shocker was that it wasn't Kennedy to be the deciding vote, but Roberts. Another Republican appointee goes left. This never happens to Democrat appointees. They always vote left-wing and never "grow" into being a conservative.

The ruiling is ridiculous. The court said Obamacare couldn't pass as part of the Commerce clause, but it could pass as a tax. So now the government can tax inactivity. What's next, "if you don't buy a Chevy Volt, you will be taxed."

The judicial problems with this law are broad and deep. The government said it wasn't a tax over and over to the American people, said it wasn't a tax before the court (to avoid the anti-Injunction act), but did say it was a tax to the court to argue for it being Constitutional.

Obamacare is all about government control of people's lives. If you can control people's access to healthcare, you have substantial control over many people, including a major block of voters: senior citizens.

I hope Republicans are elected in droves and this is repealed.  Americans don't like laws that are passed with bribery, trickery, and bullying.  First and foremost, Congress is exempt from their own legislation.
2. The People of Massachussets voted for a REPUBLICAN in order to stop Obamacare.  Democrats changed the rules to vote for it anyway.  Democrats buy off Ben Nelson (the Cornhusker kickback). Democrats buy off Mary Landreiu (the Louisiana purchase). Democrats strong armed Bart Stupak into voting for it.  A law which takes over 1/6 of the US economy by the government should have broad support, but it passed without 1 Republican. Democrats talk about bipartisanship is phony.  The Democrat party has been taken over by a gang of radical leftists, who will lie, cavort, and bribe their way to attain more government power. Gone are any moderate Democrats. The few remaining moderates are either leaving the Democrat party (Artur Davis), have their votes drowned out (13 Dems in the House voted against it), or end up going along with the radicals.
