Adding to the article, I've
always felt the question of character in situations of non-criminal infidelity
by politicans to be paramount.
Suppose a male politican who
cheated on his wife is up for re-election. Conventional wisdom says
"that's his private life".
However, the man made a
solemn vow, before God, to a woman to be faithful. If he cannot keep THAT
promise, how can I as a voter expect that he'll keep the various campaign
promises he makes?
