If Carter Was Merely Naive....

Carter was again deriding the US, but this time abroad. We expect it from Hollywood, but not a former president. If Carter was merely naive the laws of probability would dictate that part of his actions would serve America's interests.

"Former President Carter said Saturday the detention of terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay Naval base was an embarrassment and had given extremists an
excuse to attack the United States. Mr. Carter also criticized the U.S.-led war in Iraq as "unnecessary and unjust."
